Investigative journalist Paul Chouta from Cameroon

Paul Chouta is an investigative journalist from Cameroon. He reports on corruption and human rights violations and is a fierce critic of President Paul Biya. Chouta published highly confidential documents on corruption at government level and money laundering. His research made him a target of the authorities: The media worker was persecuted, abducted several times and repeatedly imprisoned.
